Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 September 2026

We collect only what we need to run your guestlist booking and keep you posted about nights you'll like. This page explains exactly what that is, where it lives, and how to make us stop.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Natë Society (the independent promoter behind this website) is the controller of the personal data described below. Contact: email hello@natesociety.com or WhatsApp +355697926004.

2. What we collect

  • Identity and contact: full name, email address (optional) and phone/WhatsApp number.
  • Reservation details: the event and date you book, your guest count (men/women), VIP or table request, and any note you type.
  • Consent record: the time you accepted our Terms and Privacy Policy.
  • Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to prevent abuse (rate limiting), and our hosting providers keep standard server logs. We store your language choice and this site’s consent choice in your browser’s local storage and in a first-party cookie. If you accept our banner, we also keep a short label of which link or website brought you here (for example “instagram” or “google”) for 30 days, and save it with your booking so we can see which channels work. It contains no personal data. We use no advertising cookies. If you choose “Accept” on our banner, we also use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) to count visits and see which pages and channels work: it sets cookies (such as _ga), sees an anonymised IP address, and does not receive your name, phone or email. If you choose “Essential only”, Google Analytics is not loaded and sets nothing. Our own admin and door-scanner pages are never measured.
  • Check-in: when and how you were checked in on the night (door scan, door code, or on-site check-in).
  • Location (optional): on event night, if you choose to enable automatic check-in on your pass, your device’s location is used only while that page is open to see whether you are at the venue. Coordinates are checked once against the venue’s position and are never stored; we only record that you checked in. You can decline and use the door code or QR scan instead.
  • On your device: your pass (name initial, event, guest count, QR code) is saved in your browser’s local storage so it opens without a signal at the door. Clear your browser data to remove it.
  • Reviews: if you leave a review, the name, origin and text you submit.

3. Why we use it

  • to register you on the guestlist, generate your VIP pass and QR code and manage door entry (performing your booking);
  • to contact you about your booking by WhatsApp, phone or email;
  • to send nightlife updates, VIP invitations and promotions (see section 5);
  • to keep the service safe, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations (legitimate interests / legal duty).

4. How your data is protected

Personal data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on industry-standard encrypted infrastructure: a Supabase PostgreSQL database with Row-Level Security enabled on our tables, so records cannot be read by the public. Access is limited to authorised promoter administrators who sign in with individual credentials. The “Find my pass” page shows only a masked name and never reveals phone numbers or email addresses.

We rely on a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf and only for running this service: Supabase (database), Vercel (website hosting), Google (email notifications) and Meta/WhatsApp (messages you send or that we send you). They may process data outside your country, under appropriate safeguards. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load (page name, device type, country, load timings); it uses no cookies and does not identify you. No system is completely secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

5. Promotional and marketing use

By submitting a reservation or joining our community, you give us permission to reuse your contact details for future nightlife updates, exclusive VIP invitations, event promotions and community notifications, sent by email or WhatsApp. You can withdraw this permission at any time (see section 8) and it will not affect your existing bookings.

6. We never sell your data

Your personal data is never sold, rented or distributed to third-party advertisers or data brokers. We share it only with the service providers in section 4, when the law requires it, or with the venue where needed to admit you to your event (for example your name and party size on the door list).

7. How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact records while they are useful to run the guestlist and to invite returning guests, review inactive records periodically, and delete or anonymise data when you ask us to or when we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

8. Your rights and how to use them

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to our use of it, receive a copy of it, or opt out of promotional messages. Just send a simple request by email hello@natesociety.com or WhatsApp +355697926004 — for opting out, replying STOP to any WhatsApp or email is enough. We will act on requests without undue delay and within one month.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Age

Our events are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change how we use personal data we will update this page and its date. Material changes to marketing use will be communicated to you.
